A Mod Feature

Wow we did it!  The 1s team headed down to the Dakota State Fair Speedway in Huron, SD on 4-21-12 to race both the Wissota Midwest Modified and Modified divisions.

MW Mod:  Scotty finished 3rd in the heat and started 4th in the 26 car feature.  As luck would have it, the Millenium chassis, Dakota Engine Builders 1s picked up the 1st feature win of the season followed by #3E Corey Elward and #10C Chad Olsen.  Modified:  Started pole of the first heat and won!  1st ever modified heat win.  Started 3rd in the feature and finished 8th.  #9 Kent Arment won followed by #10C Chad Olsen.  Select photo’s courtesy of CRP Photos.

Chase, Scott & Joey

Along with finishing 9th in Wissota Nation Points, out of almost 800 drivers, the Scott Bintz Racing team captured the 2011 North Dakota State Championship. Racing 17 various tracks in the upper great plains racking up 33 heat wins and 13 feature wins for a career best season. During the National banquet Scott credited the success to his team, fans and sponsors. “It was amazing, we were very lucky to have all the help from our pit crew especially Joey and Chase, along with great partners and enthusiastic fans”.  View complete 2011 season stats.
